A $1,000 entry and $1,000 exit create $2,000 of executed volume. Use notional, not margin or deposits; do not multiply it by leverage again.
Compare the fee plans
Custom example loaded. Replace the assumptions with your own account rates.
Both plans use the same volume and maker mix. Open “Other costs” to include slippage, subscriptions or net funding. Zero means that cost is excluded.

| All-in cost (bps) | 10 | 9 |
When does B cost less?
B is no more expensive at zero volume and costs less for positive volume under these assumptions.
Holds rates, maker mix, spread and monthly funding assumptions constant. This is a cost crossover, not a VIP threshold.
Negative amounts are assumed credits, not trading profit. All-in cost per volume is undefined at zero volume.
TEST YOUR ASSUMPTIONS
What could change the lower-cost plan?
A small fee advantage can disappear when your actual fills or execution costs differ. Explore one change at a time using the inputs above.
Plan B loses its current cost advantage at approximately 1 bps of additional spread/slippage on that plan, holding everything else constant. One basis point costs $1 per $10,000 of executed volume.
Explore 6 alternative scenarios
Each case starts from your original inputs. Changes are not combined. Fixed costs and net funding stay unchanged; the same maker share is used for both plans.

Different outcome from your original scenario
The 1 bp and 5 bps cases are illustrative stress assumptions, not measured venue conditions. They affect only the plan that costs less in your original scenario. No such cases are shown when the starting costs are within half a cent.
These checks do not change your inputs, establish the likelihood of an outcome or confirm VIP access. Do not trade more to reach a cost crossover. Maker fills are not guaranteed, and higher volume can change actual fees, funding and execution costs.
Check a VIP volume threshold
Use your provider’s eligible trailing 30-day volume here. It is separate from the future volume used in the cost comparison.
This is a comparison of two inputs, not a target or a recommendation to trade more.
Do not create extra turnover, borrow or buy a token solely to unlock a fee tier. Additional fees, losses and capital risk can exceed any discount. Tier timing, excluded trades, balance requirements and other qualification routes must be checked with the provider.

Your A/B inputs model costs. They do not select a provider, confirm eligibility or establish which platform is suitable for you.

Transparent by design
This is a constant-rate scenario, not a tier-by-tier simulation or an exchange recommendation. Fees apply to every fill. A maker order provides liquidity; a taker order removes it. Maker execution is not guaranteed.
Trading fees = executed volume × blended fee % ÷ 100
Slippage = executed volume × slippage bps ÷ 10,000
Total = trading fees + slippage + fixed costs + net funding
Shares in the first formula are fractions: 50% = 0.5. One basis point (bp) is 0.01%. The crossover solves for equal A and B total cost; fixed costs and net funding do not scale with volume in this model.
What the estimate leaves out
Trading gains/losses, taxes, FX changes, token holdings, borrowing not entered, withdrawal/network charges not entered, order-level rounding and tier changes during the period. USD valuation is approximate for non-USD and inverse contracts; stablecoins are not guaranteed to equal USD.
The sensitivity checks change one assumption at a time: half or twice the volume, all-maker or all-taker fills, or an extra 1 or 5 bps of execution cost on the originally cheaper plan. Fixed costs and net funding stay constant. Extra execution cost to erase the advantage (bps) = absolute cost difference ÷ executed volume × 10,000; this is undefined at zero volume. Differences below half a cent are displayed as ties. Cases outside the input limits are not calculated.

Sources, scope & care
Bybit’s official fee schedule, reviewed 2026-10-12, supplies the two optional examples. Account and regional terms can differ. The spot example excludes fiat pairs and special zones; the perpetuals example excludes special zones. Discounts, promotions and negotiated rates are not applied.
Bybit’s zero-fee spot trades are excluded from qualifying spot volume; funding is excluded from trading volume. Other qualification routes exist. Check account-specific rates and tier timing. Examples stop loading after their review window; manual calculations remain available.
