MYX V2

MYX V2 still ties maker/taker treatment to market imbalance rather than order type. Current docs now expose full rating/VIP fee tables and make Profit Lock dispute economics more concrete, including a 3,000 USD LP appeal bond.

What Matters

Check when a profit can actually leave the market.

Provider-documentation review of MYX V2 perpetual trading. Not a live execution test, exhaustive product inventory, security audit or individual eligibility assessment.

This brief uses MYX V2 documentation. Earlier MYX guides are not used to infer V2 fees, slippage or collateral rules. Market-specific settings remain essential.

Which assets and margin setting does the guide describe?

The V2 opening guide lists USDC and USDT as margin. Its Auto Margin setting uses available margin, wallet balance and realized PnL; Manual Margin lets the user specify capital.

Why it matters: Inspect the amount and permissions actually authorized. This documentation review has not tested wallet spending or revocation.

Does a limit order automatically receive maker pricing?

V2 still defines maker/taker by whether a trade reduces or increases directional imbalance. Current documentation now publishes rating-group and VIP fee tables: for A–H markets, VIP 0 is 0.050% taker / 0.040% maker, declining to 0.025% / 0.020% at VIP 5; lower-rated groups carry progressively higher rates.

Why it matters: Do not infer fee class from order type. Check market rating, VIP tier and both opening/closing notional before estimating cost.

Is V2 execution universally free of slippage?

The current execution guide uses a rule-based slippage model with market-specific no-slippage capacity A and curvature s, both derived from liquidity rating; price impact begins once one-sided exposure exceeds the documented capacity.

Why it matters: A zero-slippage headline is conditional on market state and size. Review the current quote and market parameters for the intended order.

Does an unchanged onchain tracker mean no holding cost?

Funding accrues per second but the global tracker is updated when position-changing interactions occur. The crowded side pays the less crowded side, so holding cost depends on imbalance and elapsed time rather than every-block writes.

Why it matters: Model elapsed holding time separately from trading fees; a quiet onchain tracker does not imply zero accrued funding.

When can profits be withdrawn or moved to another market?

Some markets apply Profit Lock. New profit in the same market refreshes the timer; locked profit can support that market but cannot be withdrawn or used as collateral elsewhere.

Why it matters: Check whether the selected market has a lock and its configured duration. Realized profit is not necessarily immediately portable cash.

Can a profit lock last beyond its ordinary timer?

LPs may challenge suspicious locked profits by posting a 3,000 USD bond. A valid appeal extends the lock through review; outcomes can include release or clawback, while abusive appeals can forfeit the LP bond.

Why it matters: The normal Profit Lock timer is not a guaranteed payout time. Appeal economics and dispute resolution can extend settlement, and DN has not independently tested that process.

No invented rates. No implied guarantees.

  • Current executable quotes and all-in holding costs
  • Independent fill, stop-loss and withdrawal reliability
  • Live signing permissions and revocation behaviour
  • Individual eligibility and current regional restrictions

No numerical all-in cost is calculated. A valid comparison needs contemporaneous quotes for matching assets, product modes, notional sizes, directions and holding periods, with entry, holding and exit costs included.
