DN Decision Briefs / Platform evidence

ApeX Omni

ApeX Omni separates funding from trading balances and supports cross collateral. API signing controls and withdrawal liquidity conditions deserve separate checks from a trading-fee headline.

Reviewed 2026-10-14Version 1.0.0No live execution tests

What Matters

Separate the balance you hold from the actions you authorize.

Provider-documentation review of ApeX Omni perpetual trading. Not a live execution test, exhaustive product inventory, security audit or individual eligibility assessment.

Scope: Omni perpetuals and their funding/API workflow. Spot, prediction and tokenized-asset products are outside this brief. Documentation is not proof of current account eligibility or successful execution.

Claims, sources and practical consequences.

Provider-reported

Does a funding deposit immediately become trading margin?

The API guide separates the Omni funding account from the Perps account and describes a transfer between them.

Why it matters: Check available trading balance after the transfer; a completed deposit alone does not establish usable margin.

Does cross collateral mean every asset has the same risk?

The reference lists several supported collateral tokens alongside USDT. It separately evaluates account equity and maintenance margin.

Why it matters: Confirm current collateral valuation and limits. Volatile collateral can lose value while the position also moves against you.

Is Limit Fee a quoted all-in cost?

The FAQ defines Limit Fee as the maximum trading fee accepted in the signed request. It is an authorization bound.

Why it matters: A signing limit is not the final fee paid and does not estimate funding, execution price or withdrawal costs.

Is an ordinary API key the complete signing model?

The FAQ distinguishes API credentials from zkLink signing keys. Order creation and withdrawal requests require zkLink signatures.

Why it matters: Review each credential and permission separately before automation. DN has not tested revocation or key-compromise recovery.

Does a fast-withdrawal request guarantee an immediate payout?

The withdrawal-fee endpoint requires sufficient available balance; fast withdrawals also require available fast-pool liquidity.

Why it matters: Verify route, fee and available capacity before relying on a withdrawal deadline. No payout timing has been measured.

Does a market-order API request guarantee a fill?

The FAQ requires a signed price for market orders and describes conditions under which the order is cancelled.

Why it matters: Validate price bounds and cancellation handling. A submitted request is not an execution receipt.

Evidence boundary

No invented rates. No implied guarantees.

  • Current executable quotes and all-in holding costs
  • Independent fill, stop-loss and withdrawal reliability
  • Live signing permissions and revocation behaviour
  • Individual eligibility and current regional restrictions

No numerical all-in cost is calculated. A valid comparison needs contemporaneous quotes for matching assets, product modes, notional sizes, directions and holding periods, with entry, holding and exit costs included.
