DN Decision Briefs / Platform evidence

MYX V2

MYX V2 ties execution and fees to market conditions. Its documentation also describes rolling profit locks that can restrict withdrawals and use of profits in other markets.

Reviewed 2026-10-14Version 1.0.0No live execution tests

What Matters

Check when a profit can actually leave the market.

Provider-documentation review of MYX V2 perpetual trading. Not a live execution test, exhaustive product inventory, security audit or individual eligibility assessment.

This brief uses MYX V2 documentation. Earlier MYX guides are not used to infer V2 fees, slippage or collateral rules. Market-specific settings remain essential.

Claims, sources and practical consequences.

Provider-reported

Which assets and margin setting does the guide describe?

The V2 opening guide lists USDC and USDT as margin. Its Auto Margin setting uses available margin, wallet balance and realized PnL; Manual Margin lets the user specify capital.

Why it matters: Inspect the amount and permissions actually authorized. This documentation review has not tested wallet spending or revocation.

Does a limit order automatically receive maker pricing?

V2 defines maker and taker by whether a trade reduces or increases directional imbalance. Trading fees apply to notional and also depend on market rating and VIP tier.

Why it matters: Do not import an orderbook definition of maker. Check both opening and closing costs for the actual market and classification.

Is V2 execution universally free of slippage?

The V2 execution guide uses a liquidity-rating-dependent capacity and curve for one-sided exposure, with time and price windows.

Why it matters: Older zero-slippage descriptions cannot establish a V2 execution guarantee. Review the current quote at the intended size.

Does an unchanged onchain tracker mean no holding cost?

The funding guide describes time-based accrual with tracker updates and settlement on position-changing interactions. Funding is separate from trading fees.

Why it matters: Include elapsed holding time in a cost assessment. An absence of per-block writes does not establish zero accrued funding.

When can profits be withdrawn or moved to another market?

Some markets apply Profit Lock. New profit in the same market refreshes the timer; locked profit can support that market but cannot be withdrawn or used as collateral elsewhere.

Why it matters: Check whether the selected market has a lock and its configured duration. Realized profit is not necessarily immediately portable cash.

Can a profit lock last beyond its ordinary timer?

The guide allows LP manipulation appeals during the lock. An appeal extends the lock through resolution and can result in release or clawback.

Why it matters: Do not plan withdrawals around the normal timer alone. DN has not independently tested dispute handling or payout timing.

Evidence boundary

No invented rates. No implied guarantees.

  • Current executable quotes and all-in holding costs
  • Independent fill, stop-loss and withdrawal reliability
  • Live signing permissions and revocation behaviour
  • Individual eligibility and current regional restrictions

No numerical all-in cost is calculated. A valid comparison needs contemporaneous quotes for matching assets, product modes, notional sizes, directions and holding periods, with entry, holding and exit costs included.
