# DN Agent Energy Worksheet v0.1
Published 6 November 2026. Original teaching scenarios and a blank measurement template, not observed provider/model results.

Functional unit: one accepted task under a fixed, recorded acceptance rubric. Submitted workflows and all their in-boundary attempts consume the numerator, including failures and retries. Zero accepted tasks: intensity is undefined, never zero.

For IT energy only: adjusted Wh = input Wh × declared PUE. For facility-inclusive or partial inputs: adjusted Wh = input Wh; never add PUE again. Partial inputs remain partial. Wh per accepted task = adjusted Wh / accepted tasks. Operational gCO2e = adjusted Wh / 1000 × gCO2e per kWh. Electricity cost = adjusted Wh / 1000 × tariff per kWh. Blank optional intensity/tariff means unknown. Zero is an explicit assumption, not a zero-footprint claim.

Do not sum overlapping meters (e.g. wall meter plus its GPU component). Unknown remote model/tool energy must stay excluded/unknown. Shared-hardware attribution requires an allocation method. This calculator does not measure hardware, authenticate user inputs, fetch a provider footprint, calculate embodied/training/water impacts or establish SCI/ISO conformance. It is not an API pricing or procurement ranking tool.

Sources are reviewed public documentation, dated 6 November 2026. All scenario inputs are invented, including PUE 1.2, intensity 400 gCO2e/kWh and tariff 0.20 currency units/kWh. Do not treat these as regional or provider defaults.

Falsification: identify a unit error, duplicate overhead, missing in-boundary attempt or mismatch between visible and downloaded arithmetic. Submit corrections at https://decentralised.news/contact . Material changes require a new version. No measured leaderboard exists in v0.1. DN-authored files: CC BY 4.0, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ ; third-party sources retain their terms. No source methodology is republished as a DN standard.
